NFL teams are currently in the early stages of a month-long break now that minicamps are officially behind them. Training camp is about five weeks away, which is when the real competition begins. And while we learned a few things from minicamps and OTAs, we won’t see rosters fully take shape until next month’s training camps.

For these eight teams, there’s still a lot to sort out. Whether it’s finding a starting quarterback, arranging the depth chart at cornerback,Jordan Howard Jersey or figuring out how a scheme change will work, they have a lot of work to do in camp. The Chiefs are in a similar spot to the Broncos (further up this list). Great defense, good skill position players, but several questions to answer. Only, the Chiefs’ situation at quarterback is far better, and their offensive line is solid.Walter Payton Jersey

Where Kansas City needs to figure things out is at wide receiver and running back. Jamaal Charles and Jeremy Maclin– both of whom were injured and ineffective last season – are gone, leaving a couple of voids offensively. The Chiefs are accustomed to replacing Charles, but finding a No. 1 receiver to fill in for Maclin will be difficult.

Tyreek Hill will get the first crack at it, but he’s not built like a typical X receiver. Chris Conley will also see an increase in snaps,Danny Trevathan Jersey which he deserves, quite frankly. Still, it’ll be difficult to replace the athleticism and explosiveness of Maclin when he was healthy.

Although the Chiefs are set at quarterback, they do have a decision to make: Roll with the steady play of Alex Smith or take a chance on the upside of Patrick Mahomes? It’ll likely be Smith in Week 1, but Mahomes could push him in camp. The Bears traded up for Mitchell Trubisky at No.Kevin White Jersey 2 overall, which was a surprising move after they signed Mike Glennon in free agency. Glennon will probably still be the starter when it’s all said and done, but Trubisky could surprise everyone and win the job in camp.

That’s hardly Chicago’s biggest worry, though. The secondary is a major question mark outside of Prince Amukamara and Adrian Amos, and the Bears’ wideouts aren’t much better. Kevin White has hardly been healthy, which leaves Cameron Meredith as their best receiver. He was a pleasant surprise in 2016, but he’s hardly a game changer. White will have to show he can stay healthy and become the player Chicago hoped he’d be when he was taken in the first round a few years ago.
